By Rich Cheney: Floyd Mayweather Sr. is picking Saul “Canelo” Alvarez over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in their fight this Saturday night on HBO PPV at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The reason why Mayweather Sr. is picking Canelo is because he thinks he learned how to fight like his son Floyd Mayweather Jr. after losing to him in 2013. By Rich Cheney: 2012 Olympic gold medalist Luke Campbell (17-1, 14 KOs) beat former WBA lightweight champion Darleys Perez (33-2-2, 21 KOs) by a 9th round TKO last Saturday night at Wembley stadium in London, England. Perez hurt his left shoulder in round 9 and couldn’t continue. Campbell was well ahead at the time of the stoppage. Perez had shot his load earlier in the fight. He was fading from the 3rd round and had zero left after that. It was disheartening to watch if you’re a Perez fan. … [Read more...] about Luke Campbell TKOs Darleys Perez – Results
By Rich Cheney: Floyd Mayweather Sr. doesn’t believe that UFC star Conor McGregor is seriously interested in fighting his son Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a boxing match. Floyd Sr. sees it as nothing more than talk from the 28-year-old McGregor without any true interest in that fight. Floyd Sr. doesn’t rate McGregor as a good enough fighter in terms of boxing for him to avoid getting thrashed by Mayweather Jr. I think it’s pretty much academic that McGregor stands no chance against Mayweather … [Read more...] about Video: Mayweather Sr. doubts McGregor really wants Floyd Jr.

Unbeaten Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) says he’s thinking about telling WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KOs) a joke immediately before their fight on July 2 to get him laughing enough to cause him to lose his mental focus. Horn is the underdog for the fight despite it taking place in his hometown at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia. “Maybe I could just tell him a joke before the fight,” Horn said to the Courier Mail. “He might not be able to … [Read more...] about Watch: Jeff Horn wants to throw Manny Pacquiao off his game
